Coach Mike’s Heavens Eleven Warriors, a 2017 boys team, entered the 2026 Juventus Spring Festival and were entered in the 2016 division, effectively competing for up to a year. As this was their first time participating in a 7v7 tournament, Coach Mike anticipated a significant challenge—and he was not disappointed.
In their opening match, the Warriors faced Vaughan. Vaughan took a commanding 5-1 lead at halftime. Coach Mike addressed the team with calm confidence: if they believed and followed his guidance, a comeback was possible. With that message in mind, the team came out stronger in the second half, scoring six goals to secure a 7-5 victory. When one player asked how he knew they could win, Coach Mike replied that the day tested their resilience, and the players demonstrated that they are a true team of warriors.
In their second game, the Warriors met Power FC 2016. Power FC led 3-1 at halftime, but Coach Mike reinforced the mission and belief. The team responded with four unanswered goals, finishing with a 5-3 victory.
It was a day filled with excitement, entertainment, and valuable team bonding.
