The 2017 Heavens Eleven team was invited by Forge FC to represent Senegal in a youth World Cup at Forge Stadium in Hamilton, competing one year above their age group. Under the guidance of Coach Mike Warriors, the squad delivered a strong performance against the Netherlands, showcasing quick ball movement and controlled possession to secure a 5-0 victory. In their second match, they faced Morocco and expanded on their previous form, finishing 2-0. The third encounter pitted Heavens Eleven (Senegal) against Germany, resulting in a 1-1 draw. With two wins and one draw, Coach Mike expressed satisfaction with the players’ ability to compete effectively two ages above their own and to produce such results.
