On September 23, 2023, the Heavens Eleven team played their inaugural match in the Woodbridge tournament against the host team. The Warriors scored within the first 10 minutes of the game and added another goal in the second half, ultimately securing a 2-0 victory. In their second game against Markham Lightning, coach Michael Buabeng and Prince Adjepong aimed to provide the starting players with some rest. Despite the opening goal by the Warriors, Markham Lightning equalized the score. However, with approximately 15 minutes remaining, the Warriors scored again, resulting in a 2-1 victory over Markham. This positioned the Warriors for a match against Saltfleet Stoney Creek, with the team already having secured their place in the finals. Coach Michael Buabeng provided the opportunity for other team members to showcase their talents, and they rose to the occasion, winning 4-0. This led to the finals between Heavens Eleven Warriors and Kitchener TFC, a team familiar from league play and various tournaments. The physical game featured counter-attacks from both teams, and with approximately 5 minutes remaining, Marcel Mensah received a cross and scored, clinching the 2023 Woodbridge tournament victory for Heavens Eleven Warriors.
